Summer Art Camp
Get ready for another summer full of art classes at Belton Center for the Arts! During each three-day session, we will be busy painting, drawing, and building creative new projects every day. Notice that Sessions I, III, and V will be open to children ages 8-12, and Sessions II and IV are for children 4-7 years old. Choose a session below to register. Each week will be different, so feel free to sign up for multiple sessions!
Price includes instruction, materials, and snacks for all three days of class. Payment is required at time of registration. You may register your child online, in person at Belton Center for the Arts, or by phone at (864) 338-8556. Members of the arts center receive a $5 discount on each class. If you are a member and would like to pay the discounted price, please make your payment in person. Or, you can pay online and we can refund you the $5 difference in person.
Each class has space for 12 students and requires a minimum of 6 students to fill the class. Please register within 7 days of the class’s start date.
If you must cancel, please let us know 10 days in advance in order to receive full refund. For registrants wishing to cancel less than 10 days before the class’s start date, the balance may be applied toward another art camp class, but refunds will not be issued.
Occasionally, BCA must cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. If this occurs, you will be notified by phone the Friday (four days) before the class is scheduled, and offered your choice of a full refund or a spot in another class.
WHAT TO BRING
Kids will get messy, and materials may stain! Please send your child in appropriate clothing and shoes. If possible, you may send your child with their own pocket hand sanitizer for their personal use. Masks or cloth face coverings for children are encouraged but not required. Snacks will be provided. Please do not send additional snacks, or other personal possessions. BCA will not be responsible for items lost or stolen.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
Students should be dropped off by the class’s start time, and should be picked up promptly at the end of class. In compliance of social distancing, children will be taken to their parent or guardian's vehicle by a volunteer or staff member for dismissal.
Children who arrive more than 15 minutes early must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Student work should be taken home the day it is completed. Sometimes, a project may need extra time to dry or cure before it can be sent home. In such cases, all work must be picked up by the following Tuesday. Any student work left after this time may be discarded.
