Belton Center for the Arts is highlighting artists whose canvas is the human body. Submissions may include any artwork featuring tattoos as subject matter. All types of fine art media are welcome and encouraged. This call for entries is open to the public, with no entry fee.
Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
Submissions must be hand-delivered to the Belton Center for the Arts during the drop-off period, or by appointment. Artists may submit up to two entries. Entries may not have been previously exhibited at the Belton Center for the Arts. Size is restricted to 48" inches in all dimensions. Two-dimensional works must be suitable for display, securely wired and ready to be hung. Three-dimensional pieces must sit solidly on a flat surface.
Please note that photographic submissions must be the artist's original work. For example, a fine art photograph of a tattooed person or body part is permitted. A close-up photo of just a tattoo which the submitting artist did not design would not be acceptable. If you are unsure if your piece would qualify, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions, or simply bring the piece in ahead of the entry period and we can let you know.
Entry Fee: No entry fee is required.
Works for Sale: Belton Center for the Arts will receive 30% of all works sold during the length of the exhibition. Works designated NFS will be labeled as such.
