District Two Spring Showcase

Belton Center for the Arts will be proudly hosting the showcase of young talent from the Belton-Honea Path area schools.  Come support the children of our community.  Open to the public.

April Showers

Opening Reception: Saturday, April 11. 7:00 PM

Exhibit Dates: April 11 - May 15, 2020

“April showers bring May flowers,” is a saying that refers to the traditional period of rain before the bloom of spring flowers.  Figuratively, it is used to express that there is often a period of discomfort that paves the way for more pleasant times ahead.  This is the theme of our April exhibit.

Entry period:  

Saturday, March 21 (10 AM – 2 PM)
Tuesday, March 24 – Thursday, March 26 (10 AM – 5 PM)

Local Color: An African-American Exhibit

Opening Reception: Saturday, July 18. 7:00 PM

Exhibit Dates: July 18 - August 28, 2020

African American artists are invited to participate in Belton Center for the Arts’ feature exhibit entitled, "Local Color".


This exhibit is not limited by subject matter or media. Each artist may submit up to three works of art. There is no entry fee. All work must be hand-delivered to the Center between July 7 and 11.

This exhibit is part of the “Gallery Gallivant”. Five galleries from the Upstate Art Alliance are participating in an art crawl called the “Gallery Gallivant”.

Entry period:  
Tuesday, July 7 – Friday, July 10 (10 AM – 5 PM)
Saturday, July 11 (10 AM – 2PM)
